When 5G was announced, the wireless transmission speed nearly quadrupled and introduced various application scenarios. However, transmission is not the core value of electronic devices. No matter how fast the transmission speed is, the the most basic computing power cannot be improved. Therefore, in the era of the Internet of Things, RISC-V, which has the advantages of simple architecture, open source and modularization, has also emerged, providing more possibilities for various applications in the 5G era.
Senior information industry professionals were impressed with the battle architecture of CISC (Complex Instruction Set Computer) and RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) 40 years ago. In 1980, IBM introduced a personal computer with an Intel processor and a Microsoft operating system. This decision laid the foundation for the development of the PC industry.
