2020年07月28日 — 紫光旗下新华三集团新华三半导体技术有限公司（H3C）近日顺利完成网络处理器预研芯片的测试工作，验证了针对新一代自主研发的高性能网络处理器 (Network Processor) 芯片的相关核心技术。其中，为满足未来5G网络业务及AI技术不断迭代及新兴应用对性能的更高需求，新华三半导体在CPU核的规划及选型方面，进行了深入的调研，并通过预研芯片的测试验证，最终认可了赛昉科技的RISC-V 处理器的性能符合下一代高性能网络处理器 (NP)CPU核的性能预期。
