We plan to have students download and modify processor core code bases to include a number of different numerical notation options. We will try a number of variations to get either multiple functions or a single optimized numerical notations.

Learning Objectives:
We have a workshop scheduled to present the outcome of this mentorship at IEEE Supercomputing. Indeed, we will be able to send some mentees to it to present even if it is still a WIP. We have some funding to send students to it. We will at least present a paper and a poster there.
