After several years building its ecosystem, the RISC-V Foundation has over 100 member companies. Some industry experts see this open source architecture as a breakthrough for Chinese CPU manufacturers to design solutions independently. At the recent RISC-V Day Shanghai held at Fudan University, EEFocus interviewed spokespeople from RISC-V Foundation member companies including Andres Technology, C-Sky and SiFive. Alex Guo, an individual member of the RISC-V Foundation and the organizer of the RISC-V Day Shanghai, said there have been more and more Chinese manufacturers joining RISC-V over the past two years, and this event showcased the latest developments and achievements in the RISC-V ecosystem.
