The RISC-V Foundation has appointed Calista Redmond as CEO effective immediately. Redmond replaced the interim CEO Martin Fink and reports directly to Krste Asanović, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. In her role, Redmond will be responsible for implementing the Board’s 2020 Development Plan to drive brand growth and the introduction of the RISC-V ecosystem worldwide.
Prior to joining, Redmond was Vice President of IBM Z-Ecosystem and instrumental in its growth. During her 12 years with IBM, she led strategic relationships with chip, hardware and software vendors, systems integrators, business partners, customers and developers, and increased industry visibility and engagement. Prior to joining IBM, she was CEO and co-founder of Affinity Lab and co-founder and CMO of Articulated Impact.
