Currently, based on the RISC-V instruction set, the main commercial applications are concentrated in the low-end market due to economic factors. The academic world has verified that RISC-V is able to develop high-performance processors, but it has not been recognized in the commercial market. It has also become a challenge for RISC-V. If China can make RISC-V-based high-performance chips with its special market environment and realize applications in the market, then it will  an important breakthrough for both China chip industry and RISC-V.
