The Shanghai RISC-V Meetup group will host its first event on Saturday, April 13, 2019 featuring a book signing from Bob Hu, founder of Nuclei System Technology. The Meetup will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Vπ Space, Legend Leisure Square in Zjangjiang Hi-Tech Park. Hu is the author of the first Chinese RISC-V books, “Hands to Teach You Design CPU – RISC-V processor” and “RISC-V architecture and the Quick Start for Embedded Development.” Attendees who purchase either of the books onsite will receive an autographed copy in addition to a discount (see below for discounted pricing):
  • “Hands to Teach You to Design the CPU – RISC-V Processor Articles”
    • 59 yuan (original price 99 yuan)
  • “RISC-V Architecture and Embedded Development Quick Start”
    • 49 yuan (original price 79 yuan)
In 2018, Hu founded Nuclei System Technology, a leading RISC-V core IP company that has been laser-focused on developing RISC-V core IP as well as growing the RISC-V market and ecosystem in China. Recently, Nuclei released the N200 series ultra-low power RISC-V core IP for IoT applications, which will extend the product line and provide more RISC-V based solutions to help customers accelerate innovation. Currently, Nuclei Technology is a silver member of the RISC-V Foundation, the vice chair of the China RISC-V Industry Alliance and a member of the China Open Instruction Set Ecology (RISC-V) Alliance. Nuclei System Technology co-founder Xu Lai will also speak about creating a new start-up company focused on a RISC-V processor core.  Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session open to all attendees.
