The free and open RISC-V ISA is attracting more and more technology companies to join. Recently, RISC-V Day Shanghai was held at Fudan University, with a total of 16 presentations delivered at the event covering various topics surrounding RISC-V CPU IP, including RISC-V architecture, commercial and open-source implementations, software and silicon, vectors and security, applications and accelerators, as well as simulation infrastructure. RISC-V Foundation member companies including AndesTech, SiFive, Syntacore, Codasip, GreenWaves, ICT, Microsemi and HummingBird also discussed about the processor architecture, processor security and RISC-V’s ecosystem.
