RISC-V will receive a big boost for its Open Source chip project if it confirms AMD‘s union with a foundation that recently received another unique partner , the non-profit technology consortium Linux Foundation.
As you know, RISC-V (ISA) is a free and open architecture created in the academic world by researchers from the prestigious University of Berkeley and currently, it is the clearest proposal to achieve the so-called Open Source chip.
