Cadence has announced the availability of its silicon-proven Denali Gen2 IP for LPDDR5/4/4X in TSMC’s 7nm FinFET process technology. Offering up to 1.5X faster bandwidth than the current LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X, the LPDDR5 standard provides high bandwidth with low power consumption, making it well suited for mobile computing, AI, Internet of Things (IoT), cryptocurrency mining and automotive applications. The LPDDR5 IP consists of PHY, controller and Verification IP (VIP).
Imagination Technologies and Andes Technology have collaborated to integrate the Andes N22 RISC-V MCU IP with Imagination’s Ensigma low-power IP for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4 and GNSS to provide an off-the-shelf system for the IoT market.
