The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Campus, India’s top university, has released its SDK “Shakti.” India’s Shakti processor was launched in 2016 and is based on the open source RISC-V instruction set architecture, which is strongly supported by the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
