Like the version for ARM, the RISC-V variant has been optimized for high performance and for small code sizes. The balance between size and speed can be adjusted during the construction of the library. The Segger floating-point library for RISC-V is significantly smaller than comparable open source libraries and achieves better performance. For this purpose, the floating point library for RISC-V was programmed and optimized manually in assembly language and contains the complete set of arithmetic functions.
