RISC-V – inspired by the more than 500 members from 28 countries in the RISC-V Foundation – confronts SoC developers around the world with a new challenge.
We are witnessing an incredible change in CPU development as the industry adopts open source software and open silicon IPs. After the RISC-V ISA emerged from the computer labs of the University of California, Berkeley, interest in RISC-V has skyrocketed with the commercial implementation and rapidly growing acceptance of RISC-V. It was phenomenal to see how RISC-V promoted industry-wide collaboration to meet tomorrow’s development needs.
