PolarBerry is a secure system-on-module (SOM) from Sundance that employs Microchip’s PolarFire SoC, which combines a 64-bit RISC-V MPU and low-power FPGA. This deployment-ready module enables the development of low power, thermally efficient embedded systems with defense-grade security and a powerful compute engine.
The PolarFire SoC provides a deterministic, coherent five-core RISC-V CPU cluster and a deterministic L2 memory subsystem that allows the implementation of secure Linux and real-time applications. PolarBerry can be used for developing applications in defense, military-aerospace, artificial intelligence, machine learning, automotive, industrial automation, and IoT.
