Intel has announced an open Chip-to-Chip (Chip-to-Chip) interconnect standard “Compute Express Link (CXL).” It will be used on its processor in 2021 and will be connected to accelerators and memory. Members include Alibaba, Cisco, Dell EMC, Facebook, Google, HPE, Huawei, and Microsoft.
In addition, a few RISC-V advocates announced the establishment of “CHIPS Alliance”. As part of the Linux Foundation project, he will develop a wide variety of open source intellectual property (IP) blocks and tools for the instruction set architecture.
