In a nod to the creativity and innovation of the RISC-V community, this year RISC-V International hosted the first RISC-V Summit North America T-shirt design contest! This was an opportunity to turn our talented community members loose to see what they would envision for the t-shirt giveaway, which will be given to all full-conference attendees at RISC-V Summit North America 2024, taking place on October 22- 23 in Santa Clara, CA. !
Nineteen designers from all over the world submitted their creative interpretations of what the official t-shirt for the 2024 RISC-V Summit North America could look like.
The judging panel, composed of members from the Technical, Industry and Program committees, had the tough task of selecting the winning design from such a diverse and high-quality pool of submissions. We had three stages of judging. Preliminary to get to a top 5. Then a vote on the top 5, which resulted in a tie! The final decision was a last minute tie-breaker vote!

Congratulations to Trevor Ames. Trevor has worked for Imagination Technologies as its Creative Manager for nearly one year and is responsible for the company’s branding and creative. The winning design will be the official t-shirt for all full-conference attendees. Check it out below!
Contest Eligibility
In keeping with RISC-V’s goals of being an inclusive community, the contest was designed to be accessible to everyone in the RISC-V community. There was no entry fee, and participants could submit up to three designs each. The only other requirement was that all participants be current and valid members of the RISC-V community.
What the Winner Gets
As the winner of this contest, Trevor will receive a complimentary full conference registration to the event!.
