2024 has been a year of great technical progress for the RISC-V ISA. Our 75 Committees and Groups, staffed by contributors from RISC-V member organizations worldwide, work together to advance and extend the RISC-V ISA. We have ratified 25 specifications this year, including the RVA23 and RVB23 profiles. RVA23 aligns implementations of RISC-V 64-bit application processors, paving the way for greater software portability and broader adoption across industries.
In this video you will hear some of the members of our technical community discussing the advancements made in 2024 on performance, security and resilience, debug and trace, as well as the RVA23 and RVB23 profiles.
The technical advancement achieved by our committees and working groups is fundamental to the accelerating adoption and growth of RISC-V that we see every year. We would like to thank every contributor, and look forward to more incredible progress in 2025!
