As we wrap up a busy Q1 for RISC-V, the excitement is building as RISC-V Summit Europe 2025 approaches, taking place from May 12-15 in Paris, France. This event is an essential gathering for professionals across multiple industries. With a jam-packed schedule of keynotes and technical sessions, we’ll be covering topics such as AI/ML, Automotive, Datacenter, Embedded Systems, HPC, Security, and much more. This year, we received over 220 submissions for the call for content, each highlighting the groundbreaking work happening within the global RISC-V community. The depth and innovation of these submissions promise to make our Summit agenda a truly unmissable experience.
The Expo Hall will feature a diverse range of RISC-V-based products from across the ecosystem. This is your chance to connect with our members, learn about their latest technologies, and even get hands-on with the newest developer boards and consumer devices in the Developer Zone.
The combination of strong industrial and academic communities is key to the success of RISC-V in Europe, and for this reason, the conference is designed to help attendees explore both commercial and research applications.

On October 21 – 23 we will be returning to Santa Clara for RISC-V Summit North America 2025. The event website has just gone live, with the Call for Proposals and the sponsorship prospectus now available. You can submit to the CfP until the 11th July, while sponsorships go live at 7 am PT on Monday, April 28th. We look forward to seeing you there!
Marketing Update
embedded world continues to be a very influential event with over 32,000 attendees attending the show this year. The RISC-V pavilion was a must-see stand, with a non-stop stream of visitors coming to learn about the latest news and technologies from the RISC-V ecosystem. Our 6 sponsoring member companies each had a sponsor kiosk where they showed their latest developments and gave talks in our Demo Theatre. Beyond the RISC-V Pavilion, more than 50 members showcased their RISC-V-based technologies across the show floor. Meanwhile, the “Powered by RISC-V” tracks in the main conference schedule ran throughout the event, highlighting the growing momentum of the RISC-V ecosystem.

⚙️ RISC-V ratified five new specifications, including RISC-V I/O Mapping Table (RIMT) for standardizing IOMMU configurations, Zilsd/Zclsd extensions for optimized load/store operations, Server SoC for hardware compatibility and security, Debug v1.0 for advanced hardware/software debugging, and Semihosting v1.0 for simplified host-system interactions in debug environments.
