There are significant industry efforts on RISC-V and semiconductor in general in the Shenzhen bay area.  SEMIBay, https://www.semibay.cn/ from Oct 16th to the 18th at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.
With the theme “Shaping the Future of Semiconductors, Creating Ecosystems Together,” SEMIBAY will feature over 800 exhibitors including major international vendors like ASML, Lam, Hitachi, KLA covering the whole semiconductor supply chain.
As an integral part of the expo, we are hosting a RISC-V open source forum focusing on advanced computing and open source ecosystems.
This expo is considered as one of the most important semiconductor expos in China and the largest in the southern China region.
There is a long list of major technology companies (including local giants like Tencent and BYD as part of the attendee list)  joining the RISC-V forum.
