Keynotes by Dr. Chris Lattner and Calista Redmond


Dr. Chris Lattner

The first keynote speaker for the Mi-V Virtual Summit Conference is Dr. Chris Lattner, a distinguished leader in software engineering and machine learning infrastructure. He is the creator of Clang, a compiler front end, and the LLVM Project, he will explore the benefits of the RISC-V Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) and vector extension for building Linux®-capable multi-core processor architectures for scalable hardware and software platforms with a focus on accelerating artificial intelligence models.

Join this compelling keynote talk that explores the advantages of RISC-V and the ISA extensions for workload-focused computing challenges.

Calista Redmond

Calista Redmond, CEO of RISC-V International, will discuss the latest achievements of the RISC-V community and the industry trends fueling the growth and adoption of RISC-V. She will also share highlights about the semiconductor industry from the first half of 2021. Join our second keynote speaker to learn more about the hot topics in strategic alignment for open hardware across the industry.
