Nvidia appears to be considering buying ARM. According to insider reports, which have not been officially confirmed on EETimes, Bloomberg, Financial Times or Reuters, for example, concrete discussions have been going on for some time between Softbank, the current owner of the processor IP developer, and graphics and AI chip provider Nvidia. For example, Nvidia recently offered $ 32 billion in cash and shares for ARM. Previously, there had been similar rumors of a possible takeover of ARM by the iPhone manufacturer Apple.
