With an open instruction set and academic design, RISC-V is attracting more and more developers who are willing to try new things and design for the future. However, RISC-V has great potential for community, ecology, and commercialization to create an ecosystem that is shared, maintained, serviced and developed by the Linux community.
In May 2019, the RISC-V Foundation launched RISC-V free entry activities in five cities in China. At Beijing Railway Station, the electronics world and other media visited the new CEO (CEO) of the RISC-V Foundation, Ms. Calista Redmond, and asked her to introduce the ecology of RISC-V and the development of the Foundation.
Ms. Calista Redmond was appointed CEO of the RISC-V Foundation in March 2019 and will be responsible for implementing the Board’s 2020 development plan to drive market growth and adoption of the global RISC-V ecosystem. She has over 20 years of senior management and alliance experience and has extensive open source community experience.
