CEVA announced this past July that it will acquire Hillcrest Labs, a software and component company for sensor processing for consumer and IoT devices.
Hillcrest Laboratories, a subsidiary of Interdigital, has been developing sensor processing related businesses for more than 15 years. The software “MotionEngine” provided by the company is suitable for computer vision and AI processing of cameras, voice processing of microphones, etc., including CEVA DSP, Arm Cortex-M series, A series, and RISC-V Operates on RISC-V cores.
